OVERVIEW

There are many spots in Japan to take a photo of Mt Fuji, Chureito Pagoda is one of them.

Taken at Fujiyoshida nearing sunset, the light was soft, so it was just the matter of finding the right composition for a great shot.

Landscape photography usually requires a wide-angle lens shot at higher apertures. I only carried an iPhone 6S to take the shot.

Popular spots usually have a massive crowd. You need to be creative to find the right angle to avoid them.

There was potential, but many things had to be fixed.

The goal was to create a contrast between the Pagoda & Mt Fuji.

The composition rule for this photo is simple but it works.

The rest is just colour grading according to personal taste.
